Discover the perfect support for restful sleep
This question has not yet found a definitive answer. Pillow shapes and sizes vary widely, as do the materials they are made from, yet none of these variations have provided a complete and satisfactory answer for those seeking the ideal pillow.
It is unreasonable for all people – with their differing shapes, sizes, and morphological variations – to sleep on the exact same pillows without any differentiation or prior measurements to determine the most suitable pillow for each individual.
As we have observed over more than twenty years, the neck is the foundation in the development of many illnesses and likewise the foundation in their treatment.
The neck is subjected to continuous pressure throughout the night, during what most people strive to make eight hours of so-called “healthy sleep,” which amounts to one-third of the day and one-third of a lifetime.
We therefore reject the claim that healthy sleep must always equal eight full hours; the fewer the sleeping hours, the less pressure is placed on the neck muscles and the surrounding nerves that regulate the natural flow of blood to the brain so it can perform its functions.
Reducing that pressure preserves nerve conduction and helps the brain remain adequately nourished throughout the night.
Although the brain represents only about 2% of total body weight, it receives 15–20% of the blood pumped by the heart—roughly 750 milliliters per minute—while the remaining 98% of the body shares the rest.
The brain consumes 20% of the body's available oxygen and 25% of its available glucose, and any shortage in this supply leads to functional imbalance.
Brain dysfunction occurs when sufficient blood does not reach it. The major arteries carrying blood to the brain pass through the neck, and the cervical nerves determine how much reaches the brain.
This is why most serious incidents—such as strokes and heart attacks—occur during sleep or immediately after waking, often in complete silence. We frequently hear, “He had no complaints… he had dinner, went to bed… and when we tried to wake him, he had passed away,” while it is rare to hear, “He was walking, suddenly collapsed, and died.”
In short, the fewer the hours of sleep, the lower the pressure on the neck and the neural pathways that connect to the heart and brain, and the lower the risk to the brain.
Our new pillow is custom manufactured using precise measurements for each person, matched to the morphology of the neck and taking into account brain weight, neck length, and other critical parameters.
By providing carefully calibrated elevations that encourage optimal blood flow to the brain, the pillow helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and a wide range of sleep disorders.
